Fall Shows #2, 3, and 4.
There are THREE quilt shows coming up next weekend! Yes, three! So, whichever direction you're headed in, there's likely a show to be found. Keswick Ridge Quilters are holding their show in Burtt's Corner, Miramichi QG show is in Chatham, and Where Friends Gather QG show is in Charlo. See posters below...

Applause to the one who designed your poster of upcoming quilt show. It really is beautiful, certainly embraces the warmth of your community.

ReplyDeleteSadly, she no longer has the ability to be able to say "Hello" herself, but hopefully I can portray some of her love to each of you that may remember her - from me with thanks! - for one part of Mom's memories that STILL puts a smile on her face, and a part of that smile comes from being a part of your guild.
Mom misses the times when she not only enjoyed your friendship, but also cultivated her talents, through her limited time that she was actively a member. Over the years her work has been nothing short of amazing, and she's received numerous accolades & awards for that devoted talent - People's Choice, Judge's Choice, Best In Show, & Nation-wide awards - yet, she still humbly refuses to accept that she could ever have achieved as much.
Today, Mom isn't able to enjoy her craft as much as she'd like to. She still works hard to finish quilts for family members, but sometimes is forced to recognize she mightn't always have the ability; her health has failed over the years & her fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be - but her passion carries on!

Never stop quilting... there's always those of us that will always be in awe of your work and forever thankful :-)
