Meeting Time Again

Hello everyone! I hope you are all keeping warm in this ridiculously COLD weather! Are you all wrapped up in quilts?! My studio is on the northwest end of the house, and with most of the walls being exterior walls, well it gets pretty cool in there. But I do have a space heater, and once the track lights are on for a while, it gets cozy... did I mention the space heater? We're becoming  very close friends, he and I.... I guess there's one thing this cold weather is good for... making more quilts!!

Tonight is our February meeting, hope to see a good turnout there for a presentation by JoAnn of our local quilt shop, the Christmas Crab Quiltery. Jo will be bringing in some of her newest fabrics, notions and gadgets.. well let's just say you should bring along a few dollars, as you know you'll want to do some shopping!!

Today is the last day for Early Bird registrations for our upcoming Quilt Show...get those in to Kathy T.
Today is also Fat Tuesday... hmmm... for a quilter I think that means we should be sewing with Fat Quarters today...  What have you made with Fat Quarters lately?

Don't forget to wear your nametag, return library books and bring your Show and Tell items tonight. With all this winter weather keeping us in our sewing spaces, there should be LOTS of Show and Tell!!
