We are saddened to let you know of the passing of Joan
Whelpley yesterday, May 7, at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital.
Joan has been a member of our Guild for longer than I can
remember, and over the years has generously contributed hundreds
of quilts for Transition House and other Community Projects.
Several years ago we honored her with a "Lifetime Member"
status.
There will be no visitation, at Joan's request, but a
funeral service will be held Monday May 12th at 2pm at the York
Funeral Home Chapel. We hope to see you there.
Rest in Peace, Joan. A rest well deserved.
